Microsoft Internet Explorer will not work after installing SBC internet software. Does anyone have an idea for a fix?

reinstall IE??? Dunno not too sure but try that

I would probably ping SBC on this right away.

It should also be possible to use their internet without any special software. At the end of the day it's all just DHCP giving you an address.

If you don't want to deal with their tech support I would probably uninstall the software then roll back to a recent system restore point. Should work fine.

First get yourself a Cable/DSLRouter, so that you would not need the Lame Software.

Link to: DSL PPPOE and Cable/DSL Routers.

Then uninstall the software and refresh IE.
