Sounds like a foolish thing for MS to do with Via. Hehe Maybe Bill just bought himself a company to make his own cpus.
It doesn't sound like a very good "dream" to me, probably going to get tax cuts by donating them to schools

I think it's a good idea... for consumers thinking that "all Microsoft must be good" ... MS OS, mouse, keyboard, gamepad, joystick, AND COMPUTER. Personally, I bet it's all bull sh!t. I can't imagine MS not dealing with Intel... Wintel will live until one of those companies dies.

ah geez. i like my office keyboard and intellimouse explorer 3.0, windows is ok until i can get some time to learn linux but this is just rediculous. bill gates must be getting bored.

Heh, I don't think so. MS, even as big as they are, would be shooting themselves in the foot if they only put Windows on their own boxes. Can anyone say Apple?
