can someone give me a breakdown of the different versions available since '98?
i'm looking to buy a used copy but cant decide on which to choose...

I just picked up FS2004 from the forsale forum. Got it for $10 and it is worth it. I'm not sure about previous versions, but this one is the latest one and copies crop up on the forsale forum regularly.

2nd the notion.. Get FS2004 Pro version...

There is FS 2000 - Don't get it, it had major issues with stuttering.

FS2002 was an excellent release, and if you find the pro version for dirt cheap, don't hesitate, there is very little difference between FS2002 and FS2004.

If you find FS2004 for cheap, again don't hesitate.

BTW there is no 'pro' version of 2004 - there was just 1 release.
