Microsoft exams

I am a self taught I.T. person. I do general hardware and software support and my level of skill is fine for my job. However we were asked recently about preparing for and trying to take a Microsoft exam. Has anyone here done any of those exams? I one that looked easiest for me was this one:

Exam 70-680 Windows 7, Configuring

Has anyone taken this one? Also, that exam talks about needing to know Power Shell Syntax. It SEEMS simple enough from a quick Google search, but how hard are things like this to learn?
 
I've had success passing MS exam just by studying a brain dump or Test King for a few days before the test, although none of my tests had PowerShell syntax in them.
