For those of you who are new to EMET:

"The Enhanced Mitigation Experience Toolkit (EMET) is designed to help prevent hackers from gaining access to your system. Software vulnerabilities and exploits have become an everyday part of life. Virtually every product has to deal with them and consequently, users are faced with a stream of security updates. For users who get attacked before the latest updates have been applied or who get attacked before an update is even available, the results can be devastating: malware, loss of PII, etc."

EMET 4.0 features and updates incude:

Certificate Trust, mitigations improvement hardening, and the Early Warning Program

Redesigned User Interface

Configuration Wizard

Changes in Certificate Trust

Updated Group Policy profiles

microsoft doesn't consider the NSA to be a hacker and thusly gives them a great big wide- open backdoor

meh
microsoft is not to be trusted forsecurity

One of the nice UI improvements is that you can add programs to the protected-app list simply by finding them in the list of running processes, right-clicking them, and choosing Configure Apps. That adds them to the list on the spot, you don't have to track them down by their path. You can even do several at once by holding CTRL while clicking to select multiple lines.
