Microsoft Edge on Creators update

I must say I am very impressed by the speed and stability of Microsoft Edge on the Creators update. It's far superior to the Anniversary update last year in terms of speed, stability, efficiency and likely security as well.

As I write this post, I have 25 tabs open in Edge yet the memory consumption and CPU usage is very low, a huge improvement over the Anniversary edition which would use tons of memory; even more than Chrome.

If you haven't tried the Creators Edge update, I highly recommend it. If you want to clean install the Creators update, you can download the ISO directly from Microsoft.

Edge still has plenty of issues, I usually stay away from it and use Chrome. I have had the update since 3/30

EDIT: Edge is better on build 16170

The only issue I have with Edge is occasionally it won't open a new tab.

It's a hell of a lot faster and lighter than Chrome.

So I updated Windows this morning and decided to give Edge a try after seeing this thread. So far I like it. Adblock and Adblock Plus work well and Ghostery is working well to. Importing my favorites from Chrome was a breeze. Even transferred over most of my saved passwords to.
Edge does seem slightly faster then Chrome and is less of a memory hog so I'm gonna roll with it for a few days and see.

If only Edge had ad blocking that was worth a shit.
Adblock and Ghostery have been doing pretty well.

I've been holding off on uBlock Origin to become officially available. Edge isn't my daily, but when my laptop isn't plugged in, Edge makes a huge difference.
