is it worth getting ceritified if you want to get into computer repair?

If so, how would you go about doing so?
 
certification without experience will turn you into a laughing stock.
so... don't focus on certifications as much as your skills.
if you got skillz... but are having a difficult time getting an interview...
then, certification might give you the edge that you need.

as for computer repair,
i don't think microsoft offers a hardware certification.
the last time i checked, they were still a software company.

like conjur said, a+ might be a better option for your route...
but do note that it's not a highly valued certification.
