Already have Onecare and uninstalled it within minutes. It's basically setup for noobs with computers who have no idea how to download, use, or update antivirus or spyware programs. But hey..it includes two blank cdr's 🙂

Vista is basically just Windows XP still. No huge improvements yet. If you want to see what Areo Glass should end up looking like go download LG3D, it (Sun Microsystems' Looking Glass) is what M$.. well.. *liked.* We get to test it through school, but its not that different as of this release.

If you look at the top left hand corner it says Europe, Middle East and Africa. I wonder if this affects us for those who signed up and reside in the US?

What's exciting about this release is not so much the "window dressing" but rather the internals of the OS. There are plenty of things in there that I've been wishing for as a sysadmin for a long time.

It took me from the "Europe, Middle East, and Africa" area once i signed into passport and still allowed me to register for the beta, i doubt it affects you at all. Especially since it allowed the choice of selecting United States while filling out the "survey".
