Microsoft Action Pack -- Vista Business

Question for any other Action Pack subscribers -- is the DVD they sent only Vista 32bit? Is there anyway to get the 64bit version via the action pack?

Thanks

Eventually, they usually send the software. I just got the 64 bit version of Windows 2003 Server R2. So it took awhile to get.

Now I have to get 64 bit hardware to play with it. 😎

My co-worker called/emailed the Action Pack people a few months ago and they said that there was no way to acquire the 64-bit version at this time. Pretty pathetic IMO. No wonder 64-bit is a black sheep.

Yeah -- I complained as well -- can't believe they don't at least have a $10 and we'll send you the media option.

I want to test the 64bit version so I can tell customers do go or not to go to it, but despite having just spent $1300 to buy the 'puter to run it I ran in to the dreaded MS doesn't give 2 craps about me virus and found that they only shipped 32bit.

Thanks MS -- wish your fargin' disk had said 32bit only.

Probably the easiest thing to do is to order a $10 64-bit DVD from Microsoft's Upgrade site. That SHOULD work, but no guarantees.
