Hi All,
I have Office 97 Professional install in my Laptop. Everytime I tried to startup Access I would get this error: "Microsoft Access can't be start because there is no license for it on this machine". I've tried reinstalling, uninstalling it and reininstalling the office suite, but with no success. I've had the software for a few years now and it loaded fine with my other computers. The only thing I did different was I tried loading Office 2000 first on my Laptop, but found I couldn't use their version of MS Access because we used the 97 version at work so I UNinstalled Office 2000 and tried reinstalling office 97. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

I've already did that. Spent an hour looking through their website, but wasn't too successful. As you probably know since you've visited it, it's difficult to locate a specific problem because their database on support is so huge. If you can remember which subject I should look at it would help.

Guess what. I went back to the support site again and typed the exact error message into their search and found a fix for it. Thanks again. I guess I wasn't looking for it in the correct location.

Could you give me the answer you got from Microsoft support or the URL? I've had the same problem when I started Office2000 and then reverted back to office97 pro. SO I don't even have access loaded at all. It would save me the time of installing access and then finding out the problem and possibly reinstalling it. Thanks,
