I just got my 3 items in via UPS, these are not FAKE!? where on earth did you get that idea? I mean newegg is selling the same item as gtrdirect.com , the MS OEM Intellimouse Optical. Regardless of your comment, I'm satisfied with the goods I got, it ain't no fake either, original goodie from MS. Do you have a site that you can reference that speaks of fake OEM MS and LOGITECH MOUSES? sheeeeesh

business secret -

they're either fake or from oem that make extra secretly and sell them into the grey market.

for logitech optical, without logo is fake, with black logo on top is real,
real one is 10 pcs/box, fake one is 50 pcs/box.

you can take my word as rumor, believe it or not, up to you.

:D Just received my order, and I am very pleased in the packing, seems they did not take any expense in protecting the merchandise that I have ordered. My experience is a good one with this vendor. Cheers all !

I got mine, too. They look identical the one I bought my son at Staples last fall. They don't come with the software, but you can download that from MS. I had UPS tracking on the package 5 minutes after I ordered. It arrived 37 hours after I ordered. (ordered 11pm Weds, arrived 1pm Friday) Packed well.

Hey all. Just wanted to continue the "Love Fest" hahaha. I received my Mice in 2 days (just didnt want to be the first one to say it)and thay are as described, OEM. Easy DL if software from Microsoft. Save mucho money over retail packaging. You are just paying more for fancy boxes.

I am happy with my purchase and GTRDirect.com is my new place to shop. Looking into a CDrom upgrade now...........guess where the special is? Sorry to all the negitive people out there. You guys are losing out on the deals. These people at GTR came thru on the deal without any strings.

Penalty,
ya its OEM so no software, but like you said no biggie, just DL from microsoft. plus the software that usually comes with on the CD is outdated, and the newer updated version you can just dl from the website.

kudos!

Got mine for $23.00 shipped from http://www.bestbyte.net/
Arrived today packed well (exactly as expected.) Mine didnt include the software either but it's readily available for download.
On another note (mouse related) I picked up an Aopen O-35G from MicroCenter here in Chicago for just under ten bux. It may be a national thing, I dont know... Five button, two wheels and optical, I may have to just toss the MS mouse in the drawer for now! :)

Cool. I actually have this mouse. It is much better in my opinion, to the explorer mouse. That one does not allow for ambidexterous people (left or right handed) while this one does. Also, for some reason I don't particularly like the 2 thumb buttons on that one, prefer instead the separation that this one gives.

I was very impressed with the response of the wheel too. Much better than the old MS mice that were full of resistance. This one is smooth...

got mine from gtrdirect
it's the real thing
BUT
remember that $10 rebate from microsoft that's been floating around?
well, gtr sends the mouse to you in a plastic bag and box without the microsoft box + UPC.
so they're probably pocketing many $10 rebates themselves.

no way, these are bulk pack oem mouse for system builders.

the retail intellimouse optical is list price $45, lowest I can find is $40 at Fry's. No rebate for it currently, but there is buy 1 get 1 free hot deal (or you could say fraud).

people think of the weirdest things, but hey anything can happen! lol... not... By the way, aren't OEM items restricted to rebates? I would imagine so, since it doesn't come in the actual retail box with UPC.. my 2 cents....
