3' is not that bad for a cheap price of 10 dollars.. Now let's say you purchased the mouse for 30-50, then that is definitely not worth it.

Is this as good or better than a Log TX5? (I have one, but it may or not work) It has a poor range, and it loves batteries.

I had this in my hands, but could not buy it because my fiance didn't want me to get something I didn't need. But, I really didn't get it because it didn't feel so comfortable in my hand. You wouldn't know until you try Microsoft 3000 mouse. Just my 2 cents. But then again, you can't go wrong with a $10 MS mouse. A sticker on the box says that battery life is around 6 months. I think that's great. I have the intellimouse explorer 2.0, and I certainly don't get that kind of use out of my AAs.

This is a pretty good deal. Apparently they also have plenty in stock in the store because the sale price is not marked with the red sales tag.
Rings up with the sale price on the register.
