Afraid not, we bought this keyboard and mouse combo for the conference room at the office. We could not get more than 4 - 4.5 feet away from the receiver. When we ran the wireless diag utility it said to keep the keyboard and mouse within 3 feet of the receiver. It works perfectly within 3 feet, but it starts to miss keystokes around 4 feet.

I've been eyeing these for a while. There are a bunch of them on eBay right now for around $65 shipped. Not exactly cheap, but it has a 30ft range and integrated mouse/trackball.
