microSD in transFlash adapter on Wii

I have a microSD card that i can put into a transFlash SD adapter and it fits into my Wii but I cant seem to save anything to it. Does anyone know if this should work or not?

it should i thought transflash and microsd are the same?

ya well i have to put the little card into an adapter to make it the size of a regular SD card, i dont know what you call it

How are you trying to save stuff? You can't save to SD directly from within games. You can only copy stuff to the SD card via the Wii dashboard.

oh ok, i wasnt aware you couldnt save directly. i have copied stuff but i thought you could save directly. thanks for the replies!

yeah wish they would change it so you can save right to the card.

and an OVERWRITE feature. I bring my games to a friend's place sometimes.. and if it's updated, I take a save game with me. But I have to delete the old one first.. very annoying.
