Hello guys, I'm having a few issues with my microphone and speakers. Both of these things are low end equipment, but I know they should work.
My issues:
1. When I talk on Skype (or Ventrilo etc) I can hear my self through my speakers
2. If I try to turn the volume knob on my speakers past the 30%ish mark, I will get a high pitch screech. I will get this screech regardless of me having any music/sounds/media playing. I just CAN"T get past that 30% mark. I basically can't listen to any music without resorting to headphones - which work fine when plugged into the jack on one of the speakers(I've had this issue before, came back)
Something I've noticed is that if I turn my microphone boost in the Realtek Audio Manager to 0, I can turn the knob on my speakers all the way with no issue. But of course, now nobody can hear me talk ( can still hear myself through my speakers).
