Micron to release CL2 DDR...

there has not been a reported benefit from running ddr cl2.5 memory at cl2. it seems weird but i haven't seen otherwise.
 
There probably will not be a big performance boost, but they may be slightly more "overclockable" and may perform slightly better with some real aggressive memory timings..
 
I guess that Micron did not read (or believe) the report posted elsewhere that DDR was being dropped by mainboard manufacturers. Who knows.
 
Micron = great memory company

Mushkin = evil bastids who try to trick peeps into thinking memory is the systems biggest bottleneck....BAH!!! 😛
