It's not really micron. They're cheap "major" brands. What they ship you could be anything.

I bought some Major Brand Micron and it was great so there is always a chance. But my 128's were on 8Mx8. So they couldn't screw it up?

Not really much cheaper after shipping is factored in then buying directly from crucial. I would stick with them at least you know what you are getting and that the pcb is decent quality.

Not to mention, Crucial/Micron will always be in business in case you need to use your warranty guarantee.
