Here is the link.LINK

Edit: After doing some research, some of these no-name companys are stating they are selling Micron memory and then people are reporting they are receiving generic instead. Might be a better bet sticking with the better known retailers such as buy.com, outpost.com, etc.

According to Micron, their CAS2 memory runs at 7ns, not 7.5s, so technically not their cas3 memory. Although my cas3 pc133 micron memory will do cas2 up to 140 just fine. Still a great deal!

No, i just ordered a crucial 128 pc133 7.5ns that uses micron chips that are CAS-2. The does seem like the cas-2 rated ones. I'd check the reselleratings first...i ordered from a similar yahoo vendor and i got jacked, im still waiting to be credited for my return too...
Lemme quote their site ... We are using same manufacturer for over a decade and we are very happy with the quality. hehe...
good memory if its legit.

I've never seen such 'costly' cancellation policy (w/ grammar mistake):
If you want to cancel a order please call us immediately. If you call us after we charged your card, but before shipping, you will be charged the credit card processing fee of 5%. Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled. No cancellations via email.

Lets see...

This is excellent MICRON memory for use in PC133 and PC100 systems. The cas latency is 2.

So I'm figuring if the ram runs cas2 at pc-100, they are technically accurate????

I took the plunge...I'll give an update when the ram arrives.

It seems like they are just 'covering their arse' with the way the description is worded. They do not come right out and say cas2@133mhz. With the quality of ram these days it is more likely that these will do 133mhz cas2 than not, but they are off the hook if you happen to get the rare stick that won't run at that setting.

Pricewatch lists 3 other vendors that are also selling similar ram for within a buck or two of Verasoft's price.

**EDIT**
I just recieved my memory from verasoft today. I posted some misinformation earlier. The memory I got from Verasoft was NOT micron PC133 but a PowMem pcb w/ Infineon drams (pc100 8ns 222). It is running 133/cas2 in my system right now. I had actually ordered some mircron memory from another source and both arrived today while I was at work. I didn't look closely at the shipping label and confused the two orders.

This memory is not made by Micron, it is made by a manufacturer that uses Micron parts. Don't be fooled.

My suggestion would be to by Micron from Crucial. Here's a thread with a great price directly from them.

Just to let you all know that I bought some really expensive Kingmax memory that caused my MSI-6337 board nothing but trouble but when I used this memory things were fantastic.

Currently running CAS2 at 133Mhz. I bought from PC Cost 7 months ago as they offered similar stuff. I believe that it is Micron on a 3rd party board but I'd buy from Verasoft (actually buying some more tomorrow) because they offer a lifetime warranty.

I cross-referenced the Micron chip part numbers at Micron's site and it is indeed a CAS 3 chip but the guy at PC-COST told me that they just change the programming on the memory bios for CAS 2 (sounds like BS to me). Either way, I have to say that it IS pretty good quality IMHO.

memory bios. ahahhaha.

you mean motherboard bios.

I think I'll change my PC66 memory bios to DDR for my 760 mobo!

can anyone guarantee it is CAS 2? otherwise it is not worth buying for me since i bought crucial cas 2 not long ago and wouldn't want to mix it.

No honestly... there is that SPDprom detection thing on memory chips that communicates with the MOBO on bootup to identify itself. That is what I'm talking about.
sorry for the confusion

On pricewatch memplus and bzboys are selling them for about 70 bucks, plus 10.50 shipping i think. I guess they are generic PCBs too. Actually is there a differences btw original PCB and Generic PCB?

I knew it. I called one of the companies and they said Micron only makes cas3 memories. The cas2 memories are made by Crucial. I think Micron is an extension of Crucial but I would go with Crucial if you're interested in better performance.

Flash Bulletin-

Micron Electronics OWNS Crucial -

They use that name so that when they sell memory to competitors of Micron systems (Micron owns them too) the buyer feels a little better since the box the memory arrives in doesn't have his competitor's name on it.

Among other things, Micron acquired the full Memory Fab plants that TI (Texas Instruments)had previously owned. TI essentially got out of the memory business a few years ago.

Whoever said Micron does not manufacture cas2 devices may need to do a little homework - Perhaps they don't label DIMMS with the Micron
name but I'd guess the chips came out of a Micron factory.

**EDIT**
I confused my Verasoft ram order with another order for Micron memory that arrived today. The Verasoft order was NOT micron ram, it is PowMem pcb w/infineon pc100 8ns cas2 drams. Both sticks are currently running 133/cas2 in a BF6 slots 2&3.

So, what to do...this ram is still a good deal as I have had great luck with 8ns Infineon ram. I hate to let Verasoft get away with such blatant misrepresentation though. I guess I'll call them up and see what they have to say.

A satisfied customer -

Since I'm local I decided to try a stick of the generic micron 133 - though I've only run it up to 124MHZ CAS2 it's playing nicely with my PIII 800E @ 992 MHZ in a BX6 Rev 2. I'm happy to say that I won't be needing to return it.

Please check my updates...I did NOT receive what I ordered. I confused the Verasoft order with another order for Micron ram (from another vendor) that happened to arrive today while I was at work.
