Micron D9 are DDR2 chips only. For DDR go TCCD, TCC5, or Winbond BH5/UTT, depending on board and voltage.

This is for overclocking.

How can I tell if some memory has those chips. Is there a list or is there a way of figuring it out?
Memory on newegg for example.

Look at the overclocker sites for these lists - xtremesystems.org for example. It's not always certain though, as memory manufacturers are not required to tell you the chips in use, and could change them at any time. When I buy memory I take the heatspreaders off to make sure I know what I'm dealing with.

For example I bought 1GB of OCZ platinum rev 2 once, and expected TCCD, but got TCC5.
