Am I seeing it right - there is a $2 MIR on OCZ 2GB SODIMM memory?

ROFL who's going to bother sending that in? I need one stick but I certainly won't be bothering mailing it in for $2.

Otherwise nice prices on HDTVs and MSI Wind.

Just got back. I only live two blocks aways from the MC in Cambridge, MA and thought I would just see what the line was like and possibly try and pick-up one of the Sceptre 32" 1080p HDTVs for $399. Got there at 9:30am and there must have been close to three hundred people in line wrapped around the building.

They had one guy handing-out sales flyers to everyone in line and another group of folks starting to hand-out coupon. They also slowly started allowing people into the the store prior to the 10am opening When they got to me, I was pleasantly surprised that they had one last coupon for the TV I wanted. Good or bad, they do an excellent job of crowd control for these types of sales and they would only allow small numbers into the store at a time. So, I didn't get into the store til 10:20. It was 10F outside and was happy to be finally inside. There must have been a couple of hundred of people behind me waiting to get in.

Funniest thing was talking to the cop at the front door. He told me the first guy in line got there at 3:30am to just buy one of the GPS's.

Anyways, I picked-up my HDTV, 4 of the Winbook Digital Photo Frames for $40/ea and 4 of the 28 LED flashlights for $8/each. The HDTV for the bedroom and everything else for xmas gifts. The line was long at the pick-up area but it went extremely fast. Kudos to MC for managing the sale.

Antec 900 case $59.99

Pretty damn hot for $60+tax out the door, no MIR. I saw a few other things that were pretty hot, I think a Blu-Ray optical drive for $80, not enough for me to drive the 10 minutes to my local MC heh.

I woke up at 9am, drove 80 minutes to the MC in Rockville MD. Walked into the store at around 10:40. Spoke to an employee who said there were people waiting in line since 2am the day before. I grabbed one of the coupons for the 19" LCD HDTV, paid for my TV and left in about 10 minutes worth of time.

I knew what I was looking for wasn't a big ticket item so I wasn't about to camp out for it. I did have to deal with the traffic that was leaving the microcenter, but that wasn't a big deal since they were all leaving while I was coming in.

I remember camping out at the Vienna VA MC for 9 hours to get a cheap Olevia TV on BF about two years ago. I promised myself never again. It was an experiance I promised myself not to go through again.

Went to a store today, got there at 9:45 and there was a pretty big line. They were giving out one coupon per person, meaning they only allowed one coupon deal per household so people would have a chance to get what they wanted (sucks to the people that wanted a 24" LCD and the 32" LCDTV)

I picked up a 24" LCD, looks pretty nice from what I could see. The OCZ laptop ram was not a $2 rebate, it was a typo and supposed to be a $20 rebate (even though it didn't specify how much instant savings there was on the ram). I didn't feel like arguing with a manager over their typo. I was also under the assumption that the Pioneer Burner was IDE, but it turned out to be SATA, they also had a Samsung SATA burner for $25.

Also another note, an employee with a megaphone said that these deals will also be held during Black Friday, I'm not sure if they will add anything else to it, but for anyone who missed out on anything you have another chance next week to get it.

Yeah, OCZ ram had $20 rebate on it. Still got it and put it in my 1000H.

I looked at MSI Wind in store and was rather disappointed. MSI shrinked arrow keys way too much so that I can't comfortable use them. Anyone with above average finger size will not be able to use it at all. The hinges are another disappointment, they are not strong enough to hold the lid securely in place so the lid freely swivels by about half an inch. Good luck using that on a train.

Similar experience - but at least it was really orderly. Picked up the 24" - they must have had another 100 coupons for it - and I heard the same thing. The BF sale will be the same.

What do you mean by that? You didn't look at the model number before you check out?
