Great deal for ultra low-end. Good for perhaps throwing Ubuntu on and dual-booting? Or USB conversion for an install drive?

I have a 30GB Kingston as my HTPC's boot drive. So incredibly snappy. Looooove SSD!

FYI it looks like they are allowing web sales on this. Often Micro Center hot deals are in-store only.

^Agreed. Way too small for a Windows 7 system. A friend has a 40gig SSD and he's feeling the pain. Always vigilant about space.

Like I said, great for something like an HTPC, not great for most other uses besides creating RAID 0 arrays.

It isn't to hard to create a Win 7 install that takes up only 10-11GB of space, allowing plenty of space for common productivity apps, although not much else.
