Same low prices on the SB chips but this time around you get a choice on the MB so it's pretty much make your own combo!

Example combo: 289.98 plus tax

Asus P8P67-M Pro http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0358071
Intel 2500K http://www.microcenter.com/single_pr...uct_id=0354589

I didn't see any Z68 mb's at least at my semi-local store. Maybe they are trying to clear out some stock on current boards?

Now this is hot! I wonder if they will still do a Newegg pricematch on the motherboard, then take the $40 off on top of that?

When I bought my current processor and motherboard (x4 630, asus m4a785-td matx) I'm pretty sure they did the combo discount *and* price matched Newegg on an open box (the asus was open box). I'm not 100% on this, but I do remember I paid something like $125 with tax, and this was before they introduced the buy processor, get free motherboard. Probably a YMMV though.

great deal.

I picked up a biostar tp67+ and an i7-2500K 2 weeks ago and it is working great. At that time the only board with a large discount was biostar, otherwise I would have bought the combo with a different board. But Biostar seems to be working fine (cross my fingers).

They had this promo a couple months ago. Ended up caving and getting an i5 2500K + ASUS P8P67 + 8GB ram. Total was right about 400 bucks.

Damn, if you're looking for an i3 system nows the time to jump. Price match the i3 with frys at $79.99 plus an entry H61 or H67 board +$50 for 4GB ram and you'll have yourself a nice little base to start with for $200.

Expires 6/17, I wont have money until 6/19. Darn. Would have been sweet to pick up a mini-ITX board and a core i3.

Are you sure about the deal stacking?

Usually any price match is AFTER any promo discounts.

I didn't see any mini-itx boards listed at my store. Online reservation is good for 3 calendar days so the window may just be great enough if the items you want are in stock late on the 16th. Others stated the i3 combo doesn't deduct the $40's tho. Not sure if it'll be fixed or not by then. At the current time one could argue for it in-store I'm sure. Once the deal expires I doubt they would honor it unless it's on your online reservation receipt.

" Only in-stock items are available for in-store pickup. If you don't want to pick up all your items, you'll need to place one order for delivery and a reservation for in-store pickup separately. Your reservation must be picked up within three calendar days. Once that time has expired, your items will automatically be returned and your credit card will not be charged. "

I picked up an i3 and Z68 board today. Online the combo price didn't show but in store they took the discount. Tried to stack a $25 off coupon from SD but no dice. Se la vie.

Great deal though.

Picked up a gigabyte mITX board and a core i3-2100 for ~170 after discount today. Core i3 does qualify for this.

price-matched an i3-2100 with frys for 79.99, got an open box asus P8H67-M PRO/CSM for 96 - 40 instant - 25 coupon = 111 + tax :D, gonna try and see if they'll match newegg's $86 today while i find my missing i/o shield

didn't know they were gonna charge me 20 bucks for the post-test though - first time they've offered it to me and they didn't tell me about the charge!

Holy cow, MC is so much cheaper than Newegg on Sandy Bridge chips. Wish I had one within 300 miles. LOL

I picked up an i3-2100 for $99. It's either for a WHS 2011 server build or HTPC (haven't decided which just yet). Bought a MSI H67MA-E35 (with HDMI port) for $50. MC also price matched Newegg on an Antec Sonata Proto (quiet case) at $65. They even excluded Newegg's $10 shipping charge.

While waiting in the Internet-order pickup line, I noticed a lot of sandybridge/motherboard combinations on the pickup shelf. People were buying a lot of Z68 boards, of which ASUS was the most popular.
