the LCD is "with coupon"??? Does it mean people like me don't have the coupon (the email) can't get this deal. Can someone confrim???

No, the coupon simply means they go to the people in line before the store opens, and ask them what they want. Each person can select two things, and they receive a coupon for each. You can't ask for two coupons for the same items though. Basically, it means you'll know right away (once they're out of coupons for a certain item) whether you're gonna get it or not. You don't have to waste more time in line, and there's no mad rush to get into the store once it opens. It's a good way to do it....

you can order online but it keeps giving me an error at checkout saying my billing addy doesn't match the addy my credit card has on file. i checked it 3 times. bs 🙁

I have the big 7 page ad for MC here in Houston that came in today's paper and there is no mention of any black Friday deals. I wonder if these deals will be available there?

AWESOME

the 17" BenQ LCD rang up at $189.99 out the door instead of $209.99.

Now, after the two $30 MIR's, it will be $130 + tax!

The MicroCenter BF ad was just a near-full page ad in a section of the newspaper itself, not a flyer insert of any sort. Probably why some people missed it. MicroCenter has always done it this way. Ditto for the use of the "hot item" coupons as well as the free donuts and coffee. Heck, last year someone asked the Mgr., who was working the donut/coffee line himself at 4AM in the freezing rain, if they had any tea. He said no, but that he would get some. He actually sent a sales guy out to buy tea at a 24 hr grocery nearby, 20 min. later they had it brewing !

got back awhile ago from Microcenter. was frustrated that they ran out of the 256MB flash drives so quick, but oh well. got a new sound card, which i think is a pretty hot deal.

Mad Dog Entertainer 7.1 DSP 8 Channel Sound Card
9.99 after $30 MIR

reviews say its based on Via's Envy24HT-S audio controller. not a bad card from what i've read.

i'd say it's worth 10 bucks. my first post reporting a deal so take it easy!

The MicroCenter BF ATI HDTV Wonder deal is a good one. $99.99 after a $50 instant rebate and an ATI/MicroCenter $50.00 rebate. They had a huge number of them in my local store - even as late as 10:30 this morning. The price is good through 10 pm today. I think they still had a lot on hand because they were stacked back in the LCD TV department instead of next to the other TV tuner cards. The other thing is that the ATI/MC rebate is limit 2.

Microcenter Santa Clara had no sign of any 60Gb HDD's, let alone 2Mb buffer Maxtor ones for $20.....

The cincinnati store didnt have any coffee or donuts or anything. It was pretty damn cold too. They had probably 50 of the hard drives but didn't really enforce a 1 per customer limit, I got one but it was a frenzy. I got the 256mb pc3200 and the 17" LCD also. Flash drives were gone quick but I didn't want one. The 30" Syntax LCD was $999 AR here, unless there is a $200 rebate I don't know about.

all is not lost (for me anyway) i was able to score a Maxtor 60gig 8mg drive from OD for $24.99. of course, i have to wait on a $40.00 rebate but still.... 😉

anyone else notice that the UPC on the 17" LCD doesnt match the UPC # given on the second $30 rebate form??

What are we supposed to do about this?

I went early to the Santa Clara, CA store but I still missed out on the Averatec 3250 laptop deal!!!!

🙁

Anybody willing to sell me theirs?

I grabbed some staff on this sale and now the question is how to collect appropriate rebate forms. I checked Mictrocenter site but found only rebates for their "regular" this week sale, and not for Black Friday. For example, for Belkin router 078220 ($9.99 = original price $69.99 - $20 immediate rebated - $40 mfr rebate) they show onlly a $20 mfr rebate instead of $40

Suugestions will be most apprecited.

In chicago, if you bought it in-store, you usually have to go to their rebate kiosk and type in the info.
