MicroATX Cube Case Drive Clearance Space Help

I have an Antec Aria case with which, unfortunately, my Plextor SATA DVD drive is unusable--there isn't enough clearance room between the drive and the power supply for the SATA cables. The drive is 8" deep, notwithstanding Plextor's claim that it's about 7 3/4". Looking at the Chenming MATX-118 and the Aspire X-QPack, it looks like I could get the drive to fit (in part because these cases have the power supply in the rear right corner rather than the rear left), but I'm not 100% sure and I'd like to know before I plunk down the money. Can anyone who has either of these cases let me know if there's enough room for the drive to fit?
