they had these one woot for two for tuesday, only thing i can complain about is the IR remote. It just does not seem like IR would work that great.

Don't expect to fly it like a real R/C helicopter. You can make it go up, and down and sort of make the nose point in one direction. But it can also spin, spin spin...

Yeah, these show up on woot and sellout.woot all the time, I have one due to sheer boredom and I must say it's not very good. Very difficult to control other than up and down movements (which the remote doesn't do well anyway as it has so little sensitivity) and will easily spin out. The way it charges is also frustrating and the device chomps through batteries quickly. If you're bored they are fun, if not be aware of the quality of the product.

I can make it to go anywhere I want it to. The trick is that it move more like a pendulum than a helicopter. You have to swing it left and right for it to go where you want.

The trick to get these to move forward is to put slight weight to the front of it to give it a slight tilt forward. I have one of these and can be a lot of fun. Without the weight, you do get some forward movement by like said going right and left. One thing to really be on the look out for though is any fans, ac/heat ducts, that move air will move this chopper, most the time where you dont want it to go so the air where you fly it has to be completely still.
