micro-atx cases?

Hi,

I am looking for some recomendations for a good micro-atx case that meets someone's requirements:

  1. micro in size
  1. quiet
  1. powerful for what's under the hood
  1. not too tall

Is there a micro-atx case that is similar in design to the apple mini?

Any good recomendations?

Thank you 😀

What do you mean by "similar in design to the apple mini"? Cuz micro-atx cases aren't anywhere close to the size of the apple mini.

I'm using an Antec NSK 1300 (Aria without the card reader). It's pretty quiet, but with a measly 300w psu with 18a on the +12 rail, it can hardly be called "powerful". It's about 8 inches tall.

I have the Aria, before the NSK1300. Love it. I had i for 3 years and just bought a replacement power supply for it so I could have a 24 pin PSU. The thing is quiet.

There are plenty of enclosures that are micro atx and comparable in size to a apple mini. Also, take a look at the nano, makes the mini look big.

How much power do you need, cant get any quieter than fanless.

considering micro atx is 9.6 by 9.6 inches... the mac mini is more like 6 by 6, maybe 7 by 7. micro atx almost has twice the footprint compared to the mac mini. not to mention height.

but yeah... there are smaller standards than micro atx... such as those you linked to
