Micom Netrunner 75e

A friend of mine dropped off a Micom netrunner 75e for me to toy with along with the small network I'm running here. I basically showed up, dropped it off and set it up to run along with my exsisting hardware to work as a router or what not. (Dont REALLY know what I'm talking about, I'm new to networking.). Regardless he told me I was on my own to set up the router. I'd assume it would be like the smaller router I had before (where you could connect to it via telnet to configure it properly.). This does not seem to work this way, or I do not know what I'm doing as I have none of the documentation!

I've bugged my friend as to get him to look around for the manual or at least SOME of the documentation for the device, but that could take years.

So has ANYONE set up one of these before, maybe you could explain what I need to do at least? Or tell me if something else is needed to get the stupid thing configured.

Thanks.

Google.com is a new search engine. It seems to have a little information once in a while 😀

But thats all I could really find. Nortel's site has absolutely no documentation on this or any other Micom product.

Hey now, I'm not a total moron here. 🙂

I looked all over google, yahoo and the like and could find NOTHING at all. MICOM's site has nothing because the netrunner was a discontinued product! 🙁 Anyway I just posted here with hopes someone had set one up at home or work and knew what the hell to do, as I dont have the damn manual.

If anyone else knows, feel free to post!
