Michigan Protesters Cause Gridlock

so... if I understand this right... their goal of causing gridlock is only impacting the people deemed essential and actually going to work and the first responders.... have I got that right? Sparrow, the main trauma hospital in Lansing is right where they've decided to do this.

One part of me would like to not see our family business go under.

A far larger part of me doesn't want to bury my parents via Zoom.

I see your point but really?? I think we're way past the economics of this situation. At this point, fuck money and the economy for now. Health comes first. I can't believe this has to be said. So I agree, let them get sick and they'll be dealing with the consequences. It's just careless.

We've reached the point where folks are running out of money/credit/food. People ain't going to stay home and starve. Grocery stored here are already adding security guards. We can expect a lot of civil unrest.

We have one of the worst outbreaks and people don't understand asymptomatic carriers. I'd say leave them to their own devices if it weren't for the impact to others. Sigh
