hey...was just thinking about putting together a lil get together for anyone from michigan/close by...I dont really get into the lanparty thing...maybe get together and do something outside in about a month when it get warm...let me know if you have any ideas

Im in Michigan. Muskegon to be exact and I missed a chance at the last AT get togther. So I would be up for trying to get something togther.

cool...I am in grand rapids...depending on who gets in on this, we might have it mor towards lansing so its a fair drive for everyone...we'll see what happens

If it were closer to the south of MI, I'd be all for it.

 
If the party happens anywhere within 20 miles of Detroit, I'm game. Otherwise, I leave my effective radius of operation.
 
If we do it this week, actually before Thurday, I can join the Michigan group. I'm in Madison Heights/Birmingham until then.
 
mongolian was/would be fun, but i think we should try and do something outside if it is gonna be nice and warm!

Oh, didn't think of tha when i wrote it. Ann Arbor is a drive for me. About 3 hours. Well if we pick a good date I could probably make it.

Anywhere near Ann Arbor is fine with me, but let's make it in a month (like originally stated) since most college students will be done with school by then...this next month isn't exactly too fun for us. 🙂

And I still need to pay QuixFire back for f*cking up our arrangements last time...

agreed...ann arbor is a good place...my vote is for drunken bumper cars (for those of us who are of legal drinking age)...anyone know a good spot like that around ann arbor?
 
what are some good restraunts that we could eat outside? Can we make this a friday or saturday night in May?
 
A few places on Main have outside seats, that would work...whirleyball's fun, but a bit $$$ in combination with dinner...any other ideas? Not too much to do around here...
 
if you guyes weren't set on it being in AA, i was thinkin we coudl have it someplace like Kensington Metropark.... thats outside, we could grill, play vollyball, talk, hell, if its at the end of May, maybe even swim...i dunno, i think money is an issue, we shouldnt go too crazy, i think the whole idea should just be to hang out and have fun. If we went to a park or something, everyone that was legal could bring their own booze. We get some hotdogs, steaks, burgers....just have fun the whole day. Are there any parks in AA like that?
