This is the scene where I state my obligatory, "Y'all obviously haven't seen many Asian women..." remark.

Michelle's graceful, famous, cute, rich ($4 million in endorsements for 2002); but I've known plenty of Asian women that blow her off the ice when it comes to beauty. Which is fine, there's more to beauty than physical appearance. A woman with a sense of humor, creativity, adventurous streak, intelligence... you learn to look for those as you get older.

I'm still rooting for her this year more than anyone else at the Olympics.

If you end up being the man married to a woman like Michelle, you've won the cosmic lottery!

You got the whole mindset of the Olympics wrong. For some, the Olympics are the whole deal for them because it means a shot at the big bucks. Those "athletes" are sellouts. However, many athletes in other countries who medal or even those who have made it to the Olympics (this is true for most of the countries) work regular jobs and train whenever they have free time. Getting gold to real athletes is an achievement for themselves, evidence they can hold to prove to themselves that they are the best. It should not mean money from endorsements or world wide fame. Michelle Kwan should not have said "I expect to win gold". That is just plain arrogance in my opinion. Maybe she knows that she worked hard but wouldn't that mean she thinks the other competitors worked half as much? Of course that is not the case. I hoped she learned her lesson this time in Salt Lake City and I will probably refrain from cheering her on again.

I think she looks good of recent. When she had that short hair boy haircut that was nasty. There was a really nice picture of her on the cover or TV Guide before. She looked hot there.

Winning Gold medal at the Olympic is the ultimate dream of every atheletes. She did her best, May be she tried too hard with all the pressure that they put on her shoulders. I think the media made her into something that she's not. It's not really her fault. You can't tell people stop talking about you. There's other skater who's just as good or even better than her. I didn't see or hear the media talking about them. She won several at other competition. May be she just wasn't meant to be an olympic gold medal. If she relaxes more and just get that gold medal out of her head and skate like she was trainning, may be she'll might win that Gold.


Hey, there's a lot of Brilliant actors and actresses out there that never win an oscar but still get respected and the one who won never find work again like Mira sorvino, Kim basinger just to name a few....

lots of skaters as well as gymnasts are cute but then you see them in person and their about the size and proportion of a 7th grader. They practically starve themselves to keep their hormones down and mestrual cycles from beginning so they can stay petite, and thats why after they quit their sport and start eating normally they often balloon quickly.
