I can't stand Bachmann, but I find nothing at all wrong with her husband accepting Medicaid patients. If he turned away Medicaid patients, I might have an issue with that, but why would it be wrong for him to accept the patients that want his service, just because those patients happen to be on Medicaid ?

I'm not seeing the hypocricy at all.

He should just turn away his Medicaid patients (yeah...screw em) so the Libs would be happy so they can move on to their next faux outrage. And all this time I thought Libs really cared about healthcare accessibility...damn hypocrites!

The games we play...the stupid, petty games we play.

It's amusing that "liberals" get so up-in-arms whenever someone fiscally conservative benefits in any way from a government program, but seem to have little concern when those they champion set up systems to make themselves obscenely wealthy.

Al Gore makes hundreds of millions trading in carbon credits? No big deal.

Bachmann's husband gets a hundred grand from Medicaid? Crucify her!

LOL. "Liberals."

The difference is that the progressives support those programs, and like them, conservatives supposedly do not, hence the "hypocrisy".

Wait a second, you mean in America today if you own a medical clinic you might eventually see a patient on Medicaid! Surely you jest!

Trying to help people by accepting Medicaid! Those assholes.

Imagine the outrage if her husband refused poor people treatment, hence no medicaid revenue.

not really:
Hypocrisy is not simply failing to practice those virtues that one preaches[citation needed]. Samuel Johnson made this point when he wrote about the misuse of the charge of "hypocrisy" in Rambler No. 14:
Nothing is more unjust, however common, than to charge with hypocrisy him that expresses zeal for those virtues which he neglects to practice; since he may be sincerely convinced of the advantages of conquering his passions, without having yet obtained the victory, as a man may be confident of the advantages of a voyage, or a journey, without having courage or industry to undertake it, and may honestly recommend to others, those attempts which he neglects himself.

this is just ridiculous whining. there's a lot of good reasons to think bachmann is a terrible politician; this isn't one of them.

it's like people who whine when ron paul brings home whatever pork he can. as long as the train is on the race to the bottom he should be getting his for his district.

Outrage, no - but the STUNNING hypocrisy is a worthy meal to chew on...

How is this different than liberals arguing for a tax increase while still doing everything they can to pay as little in taxes as possible? OP have you been sending in extra money at tax time? How about you?

BTW, this thread is going great!

:D

Really? Have you noticed that only the far left partisans agree with you? Even the moderate liberals like Eskimospy disagree with you. That's what you were going for?

STUNNING? Hardly. The only Medicaid issue that might be considered hypocritical is the $24k training grant and without more details, that appears to be a stretch, even for angry left wingers. Although, it could have been for his special program to turn gay folks straight.

You don't think the people profiting off of providing services to a government program are benefitting from that program?

Math question-
If for every dollar you spend you get .89 cents. What's your profit?

If the money paid was collected fair and square why not.
I think Immelt the Poster Boy for Obama is a bit more of a problem. How much tax did GE pay last year? They paid 0 taxes in 2010

GE had 304,000 employees at the end of 2009, down from 310,000 at the end of 2001. About 134,000 were based in the U.S. GE's exported many jobs and paid no Corp Taxes and Immelt is Obama's Job Economic Advisory Panel Really.

So let me see Tea Party Bad Bachmann bad Sarah Palin Bad and Obama Good There are very few Dems good in Chicago remember we have Dick Durban ready to give a better chance to illegals than our sons and daughters. Do we really believe a Chicago can produce an honest politician?

The only thing that is stunning is your STUPIDITY. Pathetic is your desperation to look for hypocrisy where it doesn't exist. Pretty much like your idiotic guess a month or so back that I somehow am living off of government subsidies in a failed attempt to point the finger of hypocrisy at me......after all I must be a farmer living off governmental tits because my handle here is named for a vegetable.

Liberal stupidity is amusing.....so please carry on.

And every person will try to take the best job with the best benefits, so there's no difference. Thanks.

Your posting style is really strange btw, half the time I don't even know what you're trying to say with your mix of forward and back slashes. You weren't like this a year or two ago.
