She quit her job as Governor to cash in. Fox, Reality Show, her daughter on Dancing with Stars, making bank on speechs. If she looked like Madeline Albright she wouldn't have gotten any of this.

I looked her picture up.
And for some reason, Madeline Albright is an aging woman but i do not find her scary. Just as Rosemary Harris, the actrice who played aunt May. Feminine but in their own graceful way. It is not strange i think, an older woman has different hormone ratio's when compared with younger women. For some reason those botox and hyaluronic acid shooters as Pelosi and Bachmann seem incredibly unnatural.

Agreed. Those aging botox "beauties" just end up looking like they're wearing skin textured masks with eye and mouth holes. yeeech.

*edit* - Just out of curiosity I googled "face lifts gone bad"........*whew* Mickey Rourke.......wow.

What 'logic, reason, or supporting facts' did Red Dawn have for using the term 'whore' against Palin? You guys sometimes misinterpret my posts completely.
Since you are the most reliable anti-Obama/anti-Democrat troll this side of spidey such misinterpretation is understandable.

Besides her looks, what does everyone think about Ms Bachmann as POTUS? Does she have much support in the GOP? Even if the GOP leaders may not like her does she have the support like Ms Palin to make noise in the next Federal election cycle?

Noise? She's a shoo-in.

Support? Kooks and Tea-Baggers mostly.

Chances? Less than Palin by any measure.

Palin's an intellectual lightweight, can lie with a straight face, and is a selfish opportunist with a scary level of Fundie mixed in.

Bachmann is just plain Looney Tunes and doesn't seem to know it. Extra measure of fundie is just icing on the (nut)cake.

The idea that either one could win election for President should be considered preposterous at least, and in Bachmann's case, absurd.

Maybe she should suggest O'Donnell as a running mate and supply the comics with a lifetime of material.

I couldn't agree more, spot on good sir.

It be great if the GOP could nominate someone other than senile puppets or brain dead puppets, but then I guess that would entail actually learning something from the fail that was Bush and Palin.

I don't think the GOP have much chance no matter who they nominate. It's almost as if Americans don't like to admit being wrong, presidents seem to get a 2nd chance...

/agreed - I don't see a viable candidate on the Republican side, ATM.

Along those lines: I've become a (guarded) fan of 'divided government', with the obvious example of the years that President Clinton presided over a Republican House and Senate. We did reasonably well when we had someone with Veto power to keep the assholes in line.

I wouldn't mind a repeat performance, TBH.

Ahh... the smell of males being guided by the smaller of their two heads. It reeks of that in here. :)

I wonder how far "The cigar" Clinton would have brought it if he would not have been chasing the ladies so much. Why could he not give it more to Hilary more often, if they would have been caught, the newspapers would have read " Couple reviving sixties mentality in the white house. Make love not war !"
And a lot of praises would have followed. It is to bad...

Well - One of the posters here (sorry, I forgot exactly who) has opined that the fundamental flaw in the Constitution/Bill of Rights is that the people don't have written authority to tell the legislature "Thanks Guys, we've had enough, now. Take a break for the next 4 and just rename post offices, or something.".

....and if a mid afternoon break for a 15 or 30 minute "Clin~Tonic" distracts him long enough to let the <pork barrel bill of the day> expire without passing, then I'd opine that "We The People" need to step up to the plate and send the man some better 'poon than Monica. ;)

If she can be relied upon to do and say what she is told to while making it appear that she's the "decider" and otherwise keep her opinions to herself quite unlike Bush Jr. and Palin, she'd be as good as any of the other prospects the repubs have come up with so far.

He really was getting more busy then doing his job did he ?
The name "The white house" surely has since old "cheese dipper" a different ring to it...

EDIT:

I looked the name up because i was not sure :

cheese dipper according to urban dictionary :
An idiot that makes a fool of him/herself in front of loads of people or in public.

:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

The people may trust GOP with the brake, but they don't trust it with the gas pedal or the steering wheel, since the last time they did, it drove the country into a wall.
