From what I heard, it's not true that he was banned from ever owning a dog again. I heard he is just not allowed to own a dog until his probation ends.

I laughed when I read the headline, but I agree with him that it would be pretty cool and helpful for him to one day be a dog owner.

Chemical "castration" isn't castration at all. They just take drugs that reduce sexual desire. The person is not rendered sterile.

I don't think anyone in the U.S. has been actually castrated as punishment for a crime, at least not recently.

I'm not talking about that. I watched a medical program where some prisoners literally had their balls replaced with some jewel-like objects. I don't think it was forced on them but they were probably told something like they will not be granted a bail hearing if they didn't. Even as an exchange for leniency, it is part of the punishment.

Only a psychopathic person would do what he did to those dogs. He is a danger to society and should be monitored for the rest of his life.

That should be mandatory for anyone convicted of a repeat sexual offense. I say repeat because of all the victims of false rape charges out there.

This is bullshit. The stigma of being a felon will follow him the rest of his life, but the day he is off probation his debt to society is paid.

I have no idea how old they are, but if younger it's too bad they have to be punished for their father's actions.
