What do you think of it? Personally I think it is great. It is hillarious. He had quite a bit of trouble getting this book released. The amount of censorship that goes on in "free" USA is kinda funny don't you think.
If you think book was funny you should try "Communist Manifesto". I think one of the Marx brothers wrote it. He had trouble publishing it because its release date was supposed to be Sept. 11, 2001. I guess there was some other stuff going on so no one got around to it that day. He then threatend to do something legal with his publisher.
That guy is a full-blown socialist.
"By mid-October, there were 50,000 finished books (out of an announced first printing of 100,000) collecting a month's worth of dust in a Scranton, Pa., warehouse, and ReganBooks had yet to schedule a new release date for "Stupid White Men." It was holding off in hopes that Moore would include new material to address the recent events, and would change the title and cover art. Moore says he readily agreed to these requests."
God knows rampant capitalism is ruining our country! It's an aberration of all that is logical, that we've come this far!
Yeah, moores publishers first demanded that he make substantial changes to the cover and large sections of the content, AND pay them $100,000 because they can't publish it as is. He refused, and after pressure from lots of good people (none involved with the gov't surprisingly , quite the opposite), they had to publish it.
I doubt it was that bad, Vespasian! I saw Michael hawking his book on The O'Reilly Factor the other day. He's a likeable guy no matter what spews out of his mouth. Even O'Reilly seemed to like him. Probably cause they're both Irish. Just got this from a friend the other day:
"There is reason to believe that some people can marry an Irish person
and still go on to lead a normal and productive life."
