Video link here.

Moore is at it again.

How about he take a one-way trip to Cuba and retire away with old Fidel. After all, the embargo never stopped him before.

Are we really sure that the guy isn't already dead?

Holy s*** in that picture he really has piled on some weight. He used to be merely very fat. I think Kim Jong IL would be a good ratings grabber.

Guess this is what happens when you make millions, you can afford more and better food...... Though apparantly a personal trainer is out of his budget. Seriously he can at least TRY to get in shape.

I actually rather enjoy watching him continue down the path of self-destruction...

On the plus side, if he ever does have a heart attack from being so grossly overweight Cuba will very likely provide his medical services for free. I guess being a suckup to a dictator does have its benefits?

Moore is an admitted communist/socialist apologist. This isn't surprising to me. Of course I could care less if he takes Castro to the Oscars.

He reminds me of the guy in that Monty Python skit who goes into the resturaunt and eats until he explodes.

Just say no (to left wing loons).

I fully understand their sympathies for communist regimes, seeing as they always desire to empower our government. A role model is an interesting thing. It shows you what they intend to do before they accomplish it.

You actually believe that Moore is being serious?

Everyones sarcasm meter is broken today eh?
LOL yeah really.
I'm not sure it is sarcastic. He has gone down to Cuba and praises to no end their medical system. He has a strange view on the world.

Can't anyone consider, even for a moment, the merit of such a proposal? How about posting something that has nothing to do with his weight, or words like "loon", or comments about the "left"/"communism"?

Castro has resigned, as far as I know, which makes him a former political leader and a celebrity. As one Senator said "You can walk into Hanoi right now and buy a Baskin Robbins ice cream cone... They're still a communist country. Why did we drop bombs on them?" Similarly, why did we try to assassinate Castro and now consider having him come here as a guest anathema? We haven't exported Bush, and he's done more harm to this country than Castro has.

While the Cuban Missile Crisis was bad news when it happened, and so were our attempts to assassinate him, why is it that Gorby is welcomed here with open arms but the idea of bringing Castro is met with derision? Is it because we didn't win, and don't like to be reminded that our attempt to put our personal puppet dictator into Cuba failed? If so, why are we positive about Vietnam now?

Also keep in mind that if Fidel was healthy enough to travel to Hollywood and participate in the Oscars he'd still be healthy enough to stay in office:laugh:

Did anyone actually read what Michael Moore said? He also said that Fidel should take part in a dance number there.

You guys are so easy to whip up into a froth it isn't even funny.

Basically.

However, a dictator doesn't resign, he still dictates. Castro will still very much have say until he dies.
