Just like Ann Coulter. It's the idiots that get all up in arms about it.

What an awesome idea!!! Imagine Chavez and Fidel?s brother walking on each side of him waving his arms and making it look like he was talking.

After the Oscars they could head to the UN and then maybe stop by the Democrat National convention.

probably the only insightful thing in this thread.

Moore is at it again.

How about he take a one-way trip to Cuba and retire away with old Fidel. After all, the embargo never stopped him before.

Personal attacks aside, what is the problem with bringing Castro to the Oscars? Castro and Cuba do not scare or threaten me.

Are "Love it or Leave it" and "My country right or wrong" the best and only approaches to being an US citizen?

why is it that Gorby is welcomed here with open arms but the idea of bringing Castro is met with derision? Is it because we didn't win, and don't like to be reminded that our attempt to put our personal puppet dictator into Cuba failed? If so, why are we positive about Vietnam now?

Because Gorb cooperated and Castro did not. Castro overthrew a US-supported dictator whereas the Soviet Union was established well before Gorb so the only tension was sourced directly from the Cold War.

All is forgiven...except Castro. Shouting hypocrisy is just retarded in America...we support dictators, we topple dictators, we assassinate dictators, we enforce dictators, we appease dictators...it's all the same.

Absolutely. Castro may not be President, but he's calling the shots. And you're a fool if you believe otherwise.

Mark my words...We will never 'normalize' relations, nor will the Cuban people be 'free', so long as Fidel is still ticking. And that's likely to be quite some time yet.

MM is an epic douche and I disagree with him on most things but I think it is pretty obvious that he was joking unless you are just retarded.

He does enough things to legitimately attack him for it seems we wouldn't need to do it when he is obviously making a joke.

It was Mike Gravel who said that. I couldn't remember his name before. He was talking about McCain. He said during the Vietnam era McCain said he was responsible for the deaths of 3 million (or something) and his response was the thing about the ice cream cone. He said McCain was the one dropping bombs, not him.

Micheal Moore had it lost from day one. If you right wingers would stop getting ants in your pants every time he said something he'd be gone by now.
