11-22-2003 Jackson Accuser Revealed

Earlier this year, Arvizo appeared in a controversial British documentary, Living With Michael Jackson, referring to Jackson as "Daddy" and admitting he shared the singer's bed.

11-21-2003 Attorney Moves Take Jackson's Children From Him

Gloria Allred, an attorney who has tangled with Michael Jackson called Friday for child welfare authorities to temporarily remove the pop star's three children from his custody because of new child molestation allegations.

"I believe the children should be temporarily removed from Mr. Jackson's care and custody because of the history of Michael Jackson with children ... combined with present criminal allegations," she said at a news conference.

The warrant was for violation of Section 288(a) of the California Penal Code ? which prohibits lewd or lascivious acts with a child under age 14. The California Penal Code says anyone convicted of the crime can be punished by three to eight years in prison.

The affidavit supporting the warrant will remain sealed for 45 days for completion of the investigation, the officials said.

11-18-2003 Michael Jackson Child Molestation charges

LOS OLIVOS, Calif. - A raid on Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch was linked to a child molestation allegation against the pop superstar, according to media reports.

"I've seen lawyers who don't represent me and spokespeople who do not know me speaking for me. These characters always seem to surface with dreadful allegations just as another project, an album, a video is being released," the Jackson statement said, referring to Tuesday's release of a greatest hits album, "Number Ones."

In a television documentary broadcast on ABC earlier this year, Jackson said he had slept in a bed with many children. "When you say bed you're thinking sexual," the singer said during the interview. "It's not sexual, we're going to sleep. I tuck them in. ... It's very charming, it's very sweet."

Do you realize that the allegation was made on the same day a CD of his was released?? It might've been just a coincidence but thats just low.

I think the accuser is taking advantage of the situation since most people don't believe a word Jackson says.

The title of the thread is misleading and should be changed - there is no warrant out for Jackson's arrest

From the Yahoo article cited in dmcowen's post:

As many as 70 law enforcement officials served a search warrant at Jackson's ranch Tuesday and searched for evidence through the night as part of an ongoing criminal investigation, Sgt. Chris Pappas said. He said no warrant had been issued for Jackson's arrest.

I have never had any doubts that Michael Jackson has problems, considering that his behavior has gotten more bizare over the years, but it's premature to jump to conclusions...

Let me get this straight - you created a post TODAY (11/19) at 0650 with the statement that Jackson has an arrest warrant out on him, and as evidence you post a link from YESTERDAY with obsolete info. confused;

Don't schools teach people to properly cite sources anymore?

do anyone you think this will result in anything? I mean with solid evidence rather someone ridiculous but because its Michael Jackson and his "history" with children they try to dig up something.

I don't know why the cops came and took some things away. I hope its not some bs reason to say Michael Jackson did something. LIke well the only way the kid would've known about X item was he had to be there. Hell doesn't Jackson invite parents and the kids to the home.

I agree he has issues. Deep Issues. psychological ones. probably going back to his dad. I read a few weeks ago in and intervew his dad felt there was a difference between whipping Michael Jackson and beating him.

Off topic I don't get arrested or what not. Say michael jackson makes the bail of 3 million dollars, does he get it back if the cops suddenly drop the charges when they end up having nothing solid? Or is Jackson get screwed?

Or even if average joe doesn't want to spend a night and jail and puts out X dollars and in the end is founded to be innocent of the charges. Not in a trial but the cops goofed/not enough evidence etc.

anyone here about the new law that may hurt Michael Jackson? code 1360

you can read it here
http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/cacodes/evid/1360.html

I mean there's good and bad to this. Good there's no buying the witness but I also think leaves room for authorities to persue when there isn't a case. Also like they can go after a person even if the witness doesn't want to cooperate.

I mean honestly what good is minors words if its isn'tspoken in person. For one we don't know if he/she was coerced into those statements. I'm not saying all children lie but hey they kids they can make up wild crazy stories.

This isn't just to michael jackson also child abuse cases. a child's scope of mind and how they describe something to police and how the police inteprets it and reasks the question can mean something totally different to adults but a child might see it as the same.

hell my own nephew I nickname him Mr. Denial. He denies everything. And will blame his cousins even when you catch him red hand. I even taped him doing it once played it back cuz I wanted him to admit he did it and he insists that wasn't him. Or he do'nt know.

BUt I'm sure those with kids or have young kids in your family know that's how it is.

I'm not certain you fully understand the reasons behind bails. The idea is that after they arrest someone, they will often let him out of jail until trial, but require the individual to leave a large financial deposit in the court's care to discourage him from trying to flee and avoid having to face a trial. I'm not certain of the exact point, but by the end of the trial, this would be as soon as charges are dropped if this occurs, Jackson gets his bail money back if he showed up to the court appearences. To the best of my knowledge, actions such as attempting to flee the country or fail to make his court appearances are the only ways the Michael Jackson can lose his bail money. Even if Jackson is convicted, he still wouuld get his bail money back if he complied with making his court appearences and the like. Bail money is not intended to be punative, but a way to let people out of jail until their trial but also discourage them from trying to flee before the trail begins.

When you look like a freak, are a freak, people are greedy, cater to hundreds of children you leave yourself wide open.. I'm surprised this does'nt happen on a monthly basis with the man. I'm not implying he's innocent or guilty more of a critque of society that his actions/life are already seen as dubious so he's kinda a easy target. (sleeping with children that arn't yours does'nt go over well in the states)

I'm just thankful the laws you're accustomed to don't apply to the majority of the nation, Super Tool ;) Unless I mistook your sarcasm for sympathy...

I will only say that children ought not be anywhere near parents who for what ever reason are not fit to raise their kids. The grandparents should step in and sort out the situation or if there is a proper mother about then her.. and, the issue should have been visited when he dangled his child off the balcony!
