I was watching CNN the other day and they said that it was likely that the jurors found it easier to convince themselves that he didn't do the crimes than vice versa, specifically because they remember him as 1979/"Thriller"/"Black&White" Mike while younger people or significantly older people would not suffer from this bullshiat.
