I'm watching out of morbid fascination if they'll ever actually ask a question about the Trump family's alleged crimes, rather than just trashing the witness.

When the guy seems to have no evidence or direct knowledge, and is convicted liar? Why wouldn't you trash the witness. This is a political dog and pony show. Cohen spouts off a bunch of speculations and maybes. The Dims will now use that to "investigate" because Mueller didn't turn up anything related to Russia collusion.

Yup I prefer news that follows professional journalistic established standards. Not some balding bare chested, leather jacket wearing jackass who has a YouTube channel.

Didn't know that the Fonz had a YouTube channel or that CNN follows professional journalistic established standards.

I just started listening, I love this. The turd Cohen was

Has now become this sweet and apologetic guy.

Nothing sweet about him. What matters is that he is providing damning testimony with documentation and a menu of people for the House to interview such as Trump's family and immediate minions. Cohen cannot benefit from a sentence reduction as much as the Republicans lie about it so that is out the window and they repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot. I'm liking this.

Yea, some of those Trump voters are middle class people. Majority of them, middle class. Are you saying that some of those police officers, iron workers, firefighters, teachers are "terrorists" or the GOP powerbrokers?

Jhhnn will be comfortable when the ISIS bride is returned to the US so he will have one more more person the counter those awful Trump voters.

Did Cohen just say that Trump paid off a woman who claimed to have had a love child with him?

No, he said there was a rumor about that and that Trump has paid hush money (15k) to silence it. This can't be seen as anything special as people in the public eye do this all the time not because it's true but because of the potential damage some will try to inflict.

It was you who offered that we better do what Trumpsters want or they'll get violent. I pointed out that we won't respond favorably to what really are threats of terrorism.

I would expect people not to let anti-American stooges remove a duly elected president without some sort of protest.

Dude, you soooooo suck! Next time you see yourself in the mirror, just dip your chin down and look at your shoes. Hold that gaze for a while, you are nothing if not shameful.

The key word is duly elected.
If the guy is committing crimes to get himself elected, he's not duly elected.

Hiding pornstar stories and coordinating with Russia to release stolen emails are crimes. Even more so if he did coordinate with Russia, they may have leverage against a sitting US president. That alone is scary enough. Talk less all the other shady stuff trump has done which other people can use as leverage against him.

For national security purposes alone this stuff has to come out.

Well you seemed to miss the part where these middle-class types are violent and it's dangerous to oppose them if Trump is removed.

You still didn't answer the question of whether you support Republicans and Trump if he turns out to be a criminal. Again this isn't a question about Hillary, it's the current President or as stated for my part any criminal of either side and not talking parking tickets and the like. Not things I dislike or disapprove of for policy reasons. ISIS? We have much less to worry about with them than these violent middle-class people who would go after those who support the rule of law.

Gotta love how someone who is guilty of crimes is somehow not able to testify against their fellow criminals according to some of these congress critters. Time to throw out our RICO laws. Time to allow everyone in prison that was put behind bars by someone who is also a criminal to be let out of jail according to these Republican Congresspeople.

Missed that part but I 100% agree

No one expects to convince a Trump supporter of anything else. These people are fundamentally broken and will never be convinced that they are, indeed, the actual problem.

The issue is convincing the independent, swayable humans that actually matter when it comes to federal elections. Trump's ~30million or so actual supporters are lost in their heads, but completely meaningless if they are the only people that will vote for the sentient rectum.

Looks like you got Brandon right in the feels.

That's playing into something unnecessary. "Duly elected" is completely irrelevant because winning an election does not excuse criminal activity and I could bring up pages and pages of "duly elected officials" who paid a heavy criminal penalty. His arguments support every corrupt officeholder from Agnew on down.

Absolutely specious logic by these GOP senators. It's shameful
I'm finding it impossible to not detest these GOP (ahem, these are not senators, these are congressional representatives) hypocritical, obfuscating, prevaricating apologists for liars... people who, in the words of William Blake... "he who doubts from what he sees will never believe do what you please." It is they to whom they are trying to appeal. God damn each and every one of them.

I think Cohen is coming off as quite genuine, infinitely more so than the GOP hentchmen/women who are shaking pencils at him.
