It's sad how so many religions have a "point system" and think you need to do good works to go to heaven. No amount of good works is good enough to go to heaven, no matter how good you are, you still sin and sin leads to hell.

sounds like a great system. Rape, murder, and pillage all you want on earth, declare jesus your savior as the sword crosses your neck and all is forgiven and eternal glory await you.

They forgot to setup a facebook page. Totally owned.

Yesterday there was one and today there are scores of Facebook pages dubbed “Everytown for Gun Safety” for several states and even local communities; the work of gun rights activists waging guerrilla warfare against billionaire Michael Bloomberg’s $50 million launch yesterday of a new gun control lobbying effort with the same name.

All of the Facebook pages have one thing in common. They all promote gun safety, including links to such things as the National Rifle Association’s “Eddie Eagle” program and the three key gun safety golden rules: Always keep guns pointed in a safe direction, always keep guns unloaded until ready to use, and always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.

I like this one the best. It's full of the side splitting lulz.

So basically according to your believes pedophiles can rape as many kids as they like, as long as they claim to accept Jesus as their lord and savior 2 minutes before they die they'll still go to heaven. While all their victims will go to hell if they didn't 'say the magic words' before dying. So your idea of heaven is a place filled with nazis, kkk members, rapists, murderers, thieves and any other scum that 'accepted Jesus', while hell is filled with anyone who didn't, no matter whether they were good or evil.

What Bloomberg did isn't an act of goodness either, if anything it's pure selfishness. Which religions tend to frown upon as well.

Actually that is a common misconception because many only preach about God's plan to save but leave out the plan to damn, since you get more tithing members that way.

“Preacher, why I can repent any time. I can give my life to the devil, and then at the end of it, I can come and be saved. Do not try to scare me. I have heard the preacher say, ‘And He is a God of mercy.’ I have heard him say, ‘He delights not in the death of anyone.’ I have heard him say, ‘And whosoever will may come.’ I have said ‘no’ to Him forty years. I am going to say ‘no’ to Him thirty more years. And at the end of seventy years, after I have given my life to the world, I am coming down that aisle and be saved.” Are you? Can you? Will you? "For this cause God shall send them a strong delusion, that they might be damned who reject the truth.”
2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

They ended up creating one with ".org" in the name: https://www.facebook.com/everytownforgunsafety.org. Amusingly, their own content is even funnier than some of the satire:

The story of the camel referred to by the TS may be misunderstood. The Eye of the Needle according to some experts refers to a very narrow alley in a middle eastern town. A skinny camel can make it through they say. And that is tremendously more likely than going though the eye of a sewing needle. Which means the odds of a rich person getting into heaven are now very greatly higher than if the verse is referring to a sewing needle.

The Eye of the Needle possibly being a narrow alley or street is documented on the net. There's no need for me to post a link because if anyone asks for it I'll simply go on the net and find it in a couple minutes.

I pay taxes which get turned into charity in the form of food stamps and government aid for the poor. So if anything, I've paid my way a dozen times already. ()🙂

Sorry the money you paid actually went to drones and Hellfire missiles. I'm afraid the end results of those are going to be on your rap sheet. 🙁

These types of sites are a gravy train with what is wrong within the anti-gun movement. They provide so much ammunition(pun intended) for critics to point out how much they don't know about what they are trying to ban.
