I think they should have to do there call to prayer old school sytly by yelling at their top of their lungs. No electrinic amplification should be allowed.
 
Sunday mornings are for recovering from hangovers ... fvckin stupid church bells ... if i had my way, i'd use a <FONT face=Verdana>50 Browning M2HB (sorry, only MG I was trained to handle) on the idiots who keep the church down the road in business and park their cars infront of my house. On the other hand, its fun to call the cops who in turn get any cars parked in front of my house towed. So far, I've had 6 cars towed ... naybe I should put a Pentacle sign on my lawn and tie a red-dyed goat to it :evil: </FONT>

meh...maybe I'll drive by one day and see what it's like. Sure, it's probably obnoxious, but I'm just as happy to see this as I am to see the nice separation of church and state we have in this country today. As soon as I don't have to hear about any other religion, I'll agree that this shouldn't happen.

Wow that's interesting. What kind of zoning do churches and mosques get? Would they be smack-dab in the middle of a residential area? That might suck for the population who doesn't care for prayer bells or calls.

Otherwise in the spirit of equality, if churches are allowed to ring bells on Sunday morning, perhaps a mosque should be able to have calls to prayer happen that day.

When i was going through the AF Police academey at Lackland AFB. our training ground were next to the DOD linguistics school. I heard this sh*t every fricken day even on weekends. it didnt take long for all of to grow a big distaste to hearing it.
