So I have a mic, and I can scream into it etc, and I hear it out my speakers, but if I try and use a program like skype, vent, or the stock recording program from windows xp, it wont record.
already checked the settings, its not muted.
I have no idea what it can be.
the only thing I can think it can be is that a while back, I did some cable management, I unlugged a couple cables but I put them back in to the places they were before. perhaps it was something I did wrong? I know this isnt hardware, but it could be the solution, though it could be software too
