I am temporarily disabled, and speaking into this computer with a microphone. Windows 7 is a great OS but for some reason mic boost will not stay on and must be reset every time I use speech recognition. in the sounds panel when I set the boost to where I need it, Windows does not light up the apply button, so all I can do is it okay. Next thing I know, I can't talk into the computer anymore and when I check it the mic boost is down to zero again...
