Yes and the authentics run almost $300 a piece, but the value of these will rise dramatically in the coming months if the Fins have a good season. It is like an investment buy a few now sell them later when they are doing well and all the band wagon fans jump on board.

Overhead and everything else too. It cost them money to rent a factory, buy machinery, pay electric bills, and pay even janitors. It's not just in the materials....

Yeah, the Dolphins can go to hell! :)
They're my 2nd favorite team (Buc fan living in TB area) and they bounced me out of our suicide pool at work. Fire Mr. Wanny now before it's too late!

Why else? To ... ahem... MAKE MONEY.

Keep in mind... they might...MIGHT cost $35 start to finish to put them on the shelf. Normally such a product would sell for 2 - 2.5x markup (so the retailer makes money and gives them room for "sale prices"). However, this is not a normal market.. all you have to do is convince people that they NEED the "authentic" shirt (basically identical to a knockoff, except for a little tag). Tack on the threat of a "limited" run (a Ricky Williams shirt that is limited to as many as they can produce) as well as the fact that this is truly a niche market so they may only sell 1 of every 5 produced and bingo...$300, easy.
