MGS 5:GZ PC Preview today

MGSV: Ground Zeroes is coming out on Steam, Dec 18. Some 4K gameplay was revealed yesterday in Japan but I couldn't decipher my way through Japanese websites to get to the actual footage. There is another Nvidia booth event tomorrow (or today depending on where you live) so hopefully we get to see some footage.
The Steam page was recently updated confirming no mouse acceleration: http://steamcommunity.com/games/311340/announcements/detail/252527885602176472 so that's good news, indicating the port will be a proper one. This demo unit has a 3 way SLI setup (and a stock CPU cooler :biggrin: ) but Fox engine is supposed to be scalable and I have no doubt the demo will have every single setting maxed out at 4K. Ideally this would be a GPU neutral event but I guess Nvidia is going all out courting studios for Gameworks.

So for those who are thinking of jumping on this - some things you should know.

This is not a MGS game. This is basically a 3 hour tech demo that bridges the story from 4 to 5. There was a lot of complaints about the price considering what it was.

If you've never played a MGS game before, then this shouldn't probably be your introduction to the world.

If you plan on playing 5, know that this and that are really nothing alike in the grand scheme of things but it is supposed to be a prologue to it.

On another subject, the other game I'm waiting for from Steam is Resident Evil - Remastered.

Yes, it is a game. Supposedly if you try to get the best ratings in all the missions it could take you many hours, but just playing through is around 2-4 hours.

This is just the demo that came out on ps4? This should be free. The demo is fun for a couple of hours. Excited to see how it looks on PC. Konami gives love to PC.
