Looking for a new case becuase my current one has very low air circulation. Looking at the MGE Ninja shown here MGE NINJA

ok so its got a nice large PSU (not sure on its stability) and its got a great looking design and airflow opions. i need to keep it under $60 and this fits my tastes perfectly. The only thing is im not sure how well i perfroms, can neone tell me how good of a case it is that have used it?

Thanks :)

What are the rest of your system specs? What's your current case?

If you have a dremel you can save a few bucks and just cut holes in the case for ventilation if you're just going to get rid of it anyway...

I don't like the smaller fans, though I am spoiled by two 120mm's. The actual intake looks nice as there is not alot blocking the fan and the blue LED's look nifty. I bet it weighs a ton but again, I am spoiled by aluminum cases.

I would not trust that PSU, but other than that it looks ok

So the $60 doesn't include S&H? What's the TOTAL price you're willing to pay?

Actually the only 120mm fan in there would be from an aftermarket PSU as all the fan mounts are 80mm and NO amount of 80mm can make up for two 120mm mediums fans for air flow AND sound. And 18lbs is too heavy for me, especially after you add all the other components.

Quote from ZipZoomFly "The Ninja offers a massive front air flow port that is capable of delivering full harddrive cooling by an installation of a 120mm fan."

im also just saying 4 fans is not lousy cooling.

any weight if fin for me (i keep my case on a rolly, open backed stand) so it doesnt really matter what the hell its made of

I see, you can put a 120 or 80 in, kinda cool but better if it is just 120 and they include one. Either way I am learning that with cases, like any other computer part, you get what you pay for. The PSU is probably crap and the case looks like any other sub $50 case (though the blue leds are cool). I have owned my fair share of cheapo and more expensive cases and think that a little extra money is worth it.

However, I have not tried this particular case or brand so I can say nothing about it besides what I garner from the pictures. I would say stay away, but the choice is yours

It's a horrible case; cheap materials, restrictive air flow, bad PSU, and it looks like a transformer, no matter what you loose.

This InWin is about 10x the case and the included PSU is excellent (Forton Source).

any other, cheaper solutions? i want to spend a few less dollars and would like a few more fans. i dont care if it has a window, but if so i like them too. i would also like a front speaker and microphone jack, seeing that i use my headphones while gaming.

I would look at a Antec Super Lanboy, you can get it for pretty cheap on sale ($40-60ish I think) and then you get to choose a nice PSU to go in it. For something good but cheap look at TT and Rosewill, for nicer but more money look at Antec and Enermax and for even better and too expensive look at OCZ

What would b the best psu to use for this case, i would prefer >400-450 watts and could spend up to $90-100

Others got this case at CompUSA for $40ish after rebate. I bought mine from buy.com for $80 about 4 monthes ago and think it might be as low as $60 now there (too lazy to check).

As for PSU's, many have opinions on those. The agreed "good" brands are Enermax, Antec, OCZ, PCPandP, and a few others. I personally went the middle of the road and got a Thermaltake Purepower 480watt for my Superlanboy. I love it and find it's voltages very stable but it won't have enough amps (18a on the 12v) if I go for a SLI rig later on. Here is my current specs that it handles beautifully:

AthlonXP 2500+ @ 2.2ghz
Abit NF7-S
2x512mb Geil PC3200
Seagate 200GB 7200 rpm
Maxtor 250GB 7200 rpm
NEC 2510a 8x +/-/dl
Lite-on 48x12x48
Panaflo M1A 120mm
Enermax 120mm
4 channel fan speed controller

It should be noted I ran this on my Enermax whisper 350 watt for a few days but wanted more wattage for comforts sake. In a year when I get a new A64/PCIe/SATA system I will probably buy myself a new PSU and leave this TT in this system.

Anything by OCZ can definintly be considered good, I would not hesitate to buy them if you can afford it. I seriously doubt it has only 4 standard connectors, my TT has 9! Worst case, you can always get splitters.
