Yesterday I was helping out a friend troubleshoot why her Brother MFP printer wasn't scanning to her computer. It would act like it was scanning, but the file would never get saved to the computer.
After uninstalling and reinstalling the software, and spending maybe 30 mins more of additional troubleshooting, I couldn't figure out why it wasn't saving the files on her computer. It was driving me bonkers.
The sheet she was trying to scan was a copy of some credit card receipts and bills of different denominations. Things she does to close out her day. She runs a business. Anywayz, on a hunch I told her to cut out the part with the money, and it scanned without a hitch. She explains she's done this several times before, but in this case she had an image of the entire $20 bill.
I was like WOW...
