Like I stated above, it's not racial bigotry. And I don't think I'm xenophobic. Some of muy close friends are Aasian, Mexican and mid-easterners. I personally travel the world frequently and in a sense that's very real to me I consider myself a citizen of the whole world, all men are brothers, etc.

For me, the main point in the OP is the fundamental fact that you can't just dump literally MILLIONS of Mexicans overnight (i.e. within space of just a few years) onto a fragil social system that has grown slowly and organically over many generations. IT'S DESTRUCTIVE! And politically incorrect though it may be to point this out, the truth is, IT"S A FACT.

Very destructive to the society that was there and built all this, to the environment, the economy, the schools, the cultural advantage of at least some sense of cultural unity. We don't want to wind up like India where different cultural groups can't even communicate with each other. But it's trending that direction.

As an illegal, displace a qualified citizen because of left-tilted "ethnic diversity" attitudes, and skate free into UC and major in Chicano Studies, free! What a load of B.S. that is! Or the usual case: get here illegally, and have your anchor baby by age 16, get amnesty, pull 20 or 30 extended-family relatives up from Guanajuato, all live free forever on welfare.

How are you skating into UC? They are barred from using race or ethnicity in admissions... they have been for a number of years now. You are also expressing several attitudes and opinions (use of welfare, etc.) that are not supported by the facts.

Ignoring the rest of your childish ranting post, I'll just comment on this.

There are multiple statistics you could pull up which show that blacks commit a much higher percentage of crime when compared to their makeup of the overall population. Why is this? Not trying to start some racial argument... I just want to hear your justification of this fact.

You say people in poverty commit more crimes, but you bash people for being racists and bigots and making up fake statistics,by pointing out that the extremely poor Mexicans illegally entering the country are committing an extremely high number of crimes compared to the rest of society. Is it wrong to point this out? Do you not see it as something that would be a problem?

It's already been proven numerous times that these statistics is a product of a fake mail, read the thread, there are links to snopes that confirm that.

Several notable studies have been done on illegal immigrants' use of public services. If you really want I can dig them up (yet again) for this board, but they have been posted several times. In short, they find that illegal immigrants are extremely unlikely to use public services, particularly ones such as welfare. There are some that do it, but the numbers are low. You are using anecdotal evidence that is not backed up by facts.

As far as UC goes, I don't know how you have this sudden insight into the mind of the UC admissions officers, but I went to a UC and Mexicans are exceedingly rare there. Not only that, but tie breakers do not go to people of other races. It's not a case of fine print either. You ever hear of prop 209? It's more then a decade old now, and it specifically prohibits any California public institution from taking race into account in any way. Racial diversity is a goal of the UC system, a laudable one at that... but the law is very clear. (unless you have some sort of proof it's not being followed?) I saw absolutely zero evidence of that, and if you look at the admissions statistics before and after prop 209 you will see a decrease in hispanic representation commensurate with the law being followed on the selective UC campuses. A significant drop at that.

Maybe you confuse whatever the laws say with the reality. Those are very different things. As Darryl M. used to say, "They are not shaking hands." The tie breaker decisions always go for the Mexicans & blacks, regardless what the fine print says. Sure it?s totally PC-wrong to say that but it?s flat true. "Racial diversity on campus" is a perhaps publically unacknowledged yet very real imperative among those folks, so the UC Admissions people are in that sense racist.

I had an aged distant relative whose husband died. She had to seek public assistance from a government office. They put that poor old woman through a humiliating wringer applying & reapplying for months. I ended up supporting her for awhile because our public system(s) she?d paid into all her life wouldn?t help her a penny?s worth. She?s Caucasian.

Pregnant 15 year old Mexicans sneak in, rapidly get a free furnished apartment with TV etc., free food (food stamps), free medical care for the girls & their US-citizen by birth new babies (lots & lots & lots of babies), get amnesty, and start importing their extended relative network from Guanajuato, who also go on welfare & other public assistance. That's the reality. Remember, we're talking millions of people, not just a few.

Point: The woman who paid all her life into that system as insurance against future need, which eventually did materialize in her life, couldn?t get help from it. The beautiful ray of sunshine sneaks in illegally, and readily draws those benefits. It ain?t right my friend.

We need a border. We need to penalize employers who hire illegals. We need to repeal the laws that prohibit public schools from even asking about their students? citizenship. Maybe we need to rethink bestowing automatic US citizenship to just any baby born within our border, such as fry of the millions of illegal Mexicans flooding in to bear their anchor babies here. Neither the Democrats nor the Republicans seem like they want to stop the illegal flood. Maybe we need a new American revolution!

How about not using racial slurs to make a point? This is why I have feeling that the majority of anti-illegal immigrant movement is made up of racist xenophobes just itching to use racial slurs in a debate. Then again maybe just maybe that woman in your made up scenario couldn't get into the emergency room because of the massive amounts of uninsured US citizens flooding emergency rooms for everything from a simple cold to a gun shot wound.

There is a large difference between using foul language in a military environment and using it in a public forum where people know you as a member of the military. Do you have no regard for what you say in uniform while in public?
