Mexican gift ideas

So my cousin is getting married in a month and his fiance is hispanic. So we decided to do a mexican themed Christmas.

Normally we play whats called Chinse gift exchange (others call it other things) but this time we are playing Mexican gift exchange, same as Chinese gift exchange, but with a twist. If you steal a gift from someone else, you have to take a shot of tequilla. Sounds very interesting, but we shall see.

Needless to say, everything is mexican themed, even the gifts. The problem is, WHAT THE HELL DO I BUY AS A GIFT? I need two of them.

Hispanic != mexican
 
Are you sure she's cool with this? If she's not Mexican (i.e. she is Cuban, Puerto Rican, or some other Latin ethnicity), she may be insulted when you start breaking out sombreros and tequila. Even if she is Mexican, calling attention to the fact that she's Mexican may not get the reaction you're looking for.
 
The political correctness is strong in this thread. What is the limit? If it's $20-$30 booze+lotto tickets works well, and takes little effort.

well if we are being politically correct and all ... bag of oranges? a shovel and/or hoe? 😛 j/k

Truthfully I grew up in a Hispanic neighborhood and food or alcohol (good tequilas though i imagine are out of the price range) were always popular gifts. Blankets/throws were also up there.
 
is the fiance ok with this? sounds pretty lame/racist/insensitive/michael scott-ish to do this without her ok.

mexicans, stealing, tequila...yeah, winning combination there.
