the cards beating the braves and the mets beating the cards does not mean that the mets would beat the braves. it doesn't work that way at all. the braves happen to matchup really well against the mets.

If you remember, we lost the last 7 games of the regular season and everyone counted us out against the younger, hungrier A's.

Edit: tru, tru. the yankees were on a bad skid. BUT...that's different from head-to-head matchups. yanks have waaay more playoff experience--hell, make that experience in general--than the A's. and likewise, the braves have more playoff experience than the mets.
